Script work: Now with 100% more cat.
Over the weekend you may have heard of or seen - nude photos of celebrities were stolen off of their phones and posted online. It’s a terrible invasion of privacy, but probably the most disconcerting part of this for me is that some people are blaming the celebrities for having the nude photos on their phones in the first place.
I should probably spend less time taking pictures of myself doing script work and…just do the script work.
apparently e.l. james called former child star mara wilson (matilda) a “sad f**k” for critiquing the 50shades books a while ago and now there’s a feud. i love it.
I have a love for her that runs deep.
Seeing a lot of Ice bucket challenge criticism online. My opinion on the ice bucket challenge is this - it’s fun. It engages hundreds upon hundreds of people to whom ALS might have been totally unnoticed. Yes, I fully realize that my donation is not going 100% towards research, just as it wouldn’t if I were giving to any other charity under any other circumstance.
If you don’t want to donate or dump a bucket of water over your head, don’t. But don’t feel the need to “educate” me on the realities of the ice bucket challenge like there is something corrupt about a bunch of people raising money in the fight against a horrible disease and having fun while doing it.
If only $10 of my donation goes towards research, then that means that the rest of my donation goes towards keeping the ALS foundation and other organizations like it above water so they can potentially raise $10 from someone else. I’m good with that. If you’re not, that’s totally cool - just scroll past the endless ice bucket videos and let the rest of us freeze our nards off in peace.
I miss the version of Dean that didn’t hate most things most of the time. I mean he was always going through shit but he still kind of enjoyed some stuff life had to offer.
I feel like 2014 Dean is a little too much like… 2014!Dean…
but aren’t these the same garden??….?
once again it is time to play “is the bbc just cheap or does this mean something”
"Pudding" is a resident Fox at the National Fox Welfare Society, as he’s too friendly to be released back to the wild.
On Monday morning shortly before noon, Gillian Bennett dragged a foam mattress from her home on Bowen Island to one of her favourite spots on the grass, facing a craggy rock cliff, the place she had chosen to die. Bennett, who was 85 and in the early stages of dementia, chose to take her own life with a draught of good whiskey, a dose of Nembutal mixed with water and her husband of 60 years by her side.
I tend to have strong opinions about things that I feel really truly matter. This is something I feel truly matters.
I come from a family that has been touched by Huntingtons Disease. The rate of suicide amongst Huntingtons patients is high and my family has been no exception. I hope that if I was to ever find that I carried the gene or if I was diagnosed with some other terminal illness that I would be able to make this same choice for myself. The conversation needs to happen.
